Honu Compliance Solutions, LLC (HCS) is a small industrial safety and environmental consulting firm located in Florida and founded by Sandy Owens, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).  Ms. Owens has more than 25 years of experience at industrial facilities and large consulting firms in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and has specific technical expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP) compliance.  Our mission is to provide customized service and EHS solutions while partnering with clients to help them maintain compliance.

As profits allow, we support the following charitable organizations: 

Tunnels to Towers Foundation Tunnel to Towers Foundation an organization dedicated to providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families.  T2T is also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness.   

We owe much to our veterans and their families for their sacrifices and would rely heavily on first responders in the event of an industrial accident.   

Humane Society of the Treasure Coast About and Give  A Martin County, Florida, No-Kill Shelter addressing animal welfare in our community.

Besides disaster relief and service to the armed forces, the American Red Cross also provides training and certification in which many of us have participated.  

Our name “HONU” is Hawaiian for green turtle, representing SAFETY, longevity, protection and wisdom.  The Green Sea Turtle is endangered. Florida hosts in excess of 30,000 sea turtle nests annually.  Green Sea Turtle | FWC
